A letter to Thomas from One year in the future 

Hello nerd, it’s you. 

You get to see things you have wanted, not the way you wanted or in the way the brush strokes of your own mind had panted. 

I got that out of the way because you and I both know we wish we had maps, maps that show the fastest way from point A to point B, maps that have creases and folds showing they can be trusted, or maps that show danger.

But I will save you some looking around, this map does not exist, what you find is what you have needed for a long time, tools and traveling companions, not just one person is needed for your Journey, not just one tool will get you to where you end up, you need friends to show you how to love better and you need tools to help you be the best Thomas you are going to be.

And sometimes those tools are found at a camp, so unpack and start a fire, welcome all who are needing your warmth.
